Trauma Center is for the patients suffering severe injuries from automobile accidents, construction sites. Our system is constructed so that different specialists from a wide range of various medical fields cooperate together actively, striving for the highest efficiency. We have medical professionals and top-notch medical equipments accommodating every area in the medical field, including emergency Medicine, Cardiothoracic surgery, Neurosurgery, orthopedics, Radiology and anesthesiology. They are able to do any emergency surgery within 24 hours.
We are also planning to finalize our MOU relationship with the medical center in Maryland, USA thus enabling highly qualified medical professionals to freely come and go between the two countries.
- Living Donor Liver Transplantation Center

Living Donor Liver transplantation is the only effective medical treatment for patients diagnosed with hepatic insufficiency and it offers hope to the patients on a daily basis. This treatment can be called the finest fruit of all our hospital’s efforts to provide a true service of releving the world by medicine, by humanity and a flower of triumph within the medical world. Paik Hospital in March of 1992 pioneered as the first in South Korea to succeed in liver transplantation.
This feat, along with our hospital’s the most up-to-date medical equipments, efficient one-stop diagnosis service, and genuine care for our patients, construct the assurance of best care we present to patients diagnosed with chronic hepatic diseases. We will be cooperating extensively page 4-1 with Asan Medical Center in Seoul, the hospital that has under its wing South Korea’s best team of liver transplantation medical professionals, and we will continuously strive to provide the best possible service to our patients.
- Robot Surgery

Robot surgery offers a 10~15 times magnified, 3-D view of the targeted area on the body, enabling much more detailed surgical actions and minimizing nerve and vein damages that can occur during the surgery. The robot’s arms also mimic precisely the flexible nature of a surgeon’s wrist, and furthermore are able to carry out surgeries that would’ve been impossible even with laparoscopic surgeries. The computer that controls the robot also eliminates any trembling that a regular surgeon's hand could easily experience, and controls other aspects of the robot all to make sure the surgery is carried on as precisely and safely as possible. Haeundae Paik Hospital has inducted within it the newest model of robot surgery equipments called Davinci 'S' and have a fully equipped and function surgery room specially designed for robot surgery.
