Stomach cancer

Stomach cancer has been the most common malignant tumor in the country and it is important to have a regular stomach endoscopy test for earlier diagnosis and perfect surgical treatment for full recovery. The Digestive center is equipped with the latest stomach endoscopy system and conducts laparoscopic gastrectomy that reduces pain and is aesthetically effective with faster recovery after surgery and small scars.

Liver and bowels, bladder, biliary tract, and pancreas

Surgeries over liver, gall bladder, and pancreas are very complicated, which require precise surgical equipment and expansive surgical experience. There is liver cancer, intrahepatic stones, gallbladder stone, bile duct stones, gallbladder cancer, biliary tract cancer, and pancreatic cancer, among many others. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has recently been introduced, being widely adopted for surgeries like gallbladder stones, splenectomy, epinephrectomy, and part hepatectomy. Among several advantages of a laparoscope operation are that it can help a more rapid recovery from surgery for returning to daily life and is aesthetically effective with small scars as well as inflicting less pain.

Colon, anus

Among colon and anus diseases, there are benign diseases like hemorrhoids, anal fistulas, anal fissures, and rectal prolapses as well as colonic diverticulitis which can come with serious complications. The division provides professional treatment and counseling for them. In particular, screening test for colorectal cancer is necessary for those at the age of 50. Once diagnosed with colorectal cancer, surgical resection is most important and anticancer chemotherapy (anticancer drugs) can be conducted depending on the clinical stage of carcinoma.
