Procedure for usage

Outpatients can receive guidance at the International Healthcare Center on the first floor. Our nurse will notify you of the admission time and room as soon as possible if your doctor decides on admission after outpatient counseling. Patients are transferred to their designated room after being notified of the necessary procedure by our staff of the International Healthcare Center on the day of admission.

Outpatient treatment procedure

  • Fill out patient registration form and submit form at reception
    Check the department and faculty before filling out your patient registration.
    Register at Admissions on the first floor
  • Treatment
    Submit your image CD (radiology images) at the Department of Radiology on the first floor.
    Give the registration receipt to the nurse at the department you wish to receive treatment.
    After you see a doctor, our nurse will guide you on the process such as examination and medication, and you can pay at the payment window on each floor.
    Patients who are selected for admission are required to register at Reception on the first floor.
  • Payment
    Submit one-day treatment information at payment window on each floor and pay for the treatment.
    Make your payment and go to the “Your Next Designation” described on your receipt.
  • Appointment
    Patients who made an appointment for the following treatment should check the details on the appointment sheet.
    Come to the hospital on the day of your appointment and go directly to the department you wish to receive treatment and submit the appointment sheet to the nurse.

Admissions procedure

  • Hospital room guide
    Please notify your coordinator if you wish to use a premium room (VIP room, two-bed room, 3-bed room). We will offer a detailed guide if you notify us of your preference for a premium room when you register for admission.
  • Admission decision
    Register at Admissions when your doctor decides on admission.
  • Admissions on the day of visit
    As a principle, emergency patients are given priority for admission. Fill out a copy of the Admissions Agreement (admissions contract, request for premium room, optional treatment request, and consent for disclosure of personal information) at the Admissions window. After being assigned to a room, go to your room with the admissions and discharge form, patient bracelet and hospital guide.
  • Admissions through appointment
    We may not be able to assign you a room on the day of admission due to circumstances, and we may have to reschedule your admission day. (In this case, we consult with your doctor and contact you or your guardian in advance.) Visit Admissions on the day of admission for registration.
  • What you should prepare when coming for admission
    Patients are required to bring soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, slipper, tissue and blanket for guardian.
  • Guide on hospital room / Intensive Care Unit
    Each room has a bathroom, small refrigerator, safe etc. If you wish to change your room, please notify the ward nurse, and our nurse will assign you another room as soon as possible. If you have any questions, seek guidance from our International Healthcare Center staff. Prepare your toothbrush, toothpaste, tissues, slippers, water cups, spoons and soaps. If you do not have these, you may purchase them at the ward.
    Patients cannot leave the hospital without the doctor’s consent. Please be careful not to fall from the hospital bed. Do not keep precious items in your room; the hospital does not take responsibility for stolen items. We recommend not to bring children under the age of 7 in order to prevent infections. Visiting time should be short to ensure quick recovery of the patient, and visitors should be quiet and abide by visiting hours.
    - Visiting hours: Weekdays 1800—20:00, Weekends and holidays 10:00—12:00, 18:00—20: 00
    - ICU visiting hours 11:00--11:30, 19:00—19:30

Rounds

Our doctors make rounds twice a day. Not only doctors of each department, but staff of the International Healthcare Center participate in rounds every day to avoid patient’s inconvenience that may occur from language problems.
  • Morning round 08: 00~10:00
  • Afternoon round 16: 00~18:00

  • Discharge hours
    - Weekdays: 10:00—17:00
    - Saturday: 10:00—12:00
    Patients who have to be discharged at times other than regular discharge hours including Saturday afternoon and holidays will be required to make payment three days after provisional discharge.
  • Discharge decision and registration
    The admissions details of the patient is sent to the review team of Admissions when your doctor decides your discharge.
    (Please ask your nurse if there are any necessary documents.)
    The review team of Admissions will contact you at the ward when payment is completed.
    Receive documents, outpatient appointment sheet and discharge sheet after making payment at the discharge window (Admissions) on the first floor, and give the discharge sheet to your ward nurse and receive discharge medication before you leave the hospital.

Medical certificates

Patients can ask their doctor for all medical records, medical certificates, doctor’s note and admission/discharge form necessary for patients during hospital stay.
