The Cancer Center provides the best environment for the treatment of patients by bringing the best doctors in their specialties such as hematology and oncology, surgery, chest surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, and radiation oncology together. Also, we have oncology nurse specialists who solely care for cancer patients during their chemotherapy.
The Cancer Center is equipped with a treatment system and human resources for early detection, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and education about cancer. For effective management of gastric cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, urological cancer and head and neck cancer, we are composed of 7 clinical divisions, 12 faculties, oncology nurse specialists, and outpatient chemotherapy. Sanggye Paik Hospital Cancer Center practices patient-oriented treatment in close cooperation with the medical staff, and we operate under a system where chemotherapy can be conducted with outpatient medical therapy and radiation therapy after quick diagnosis without admission or surgery.
