Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery
The Department of Chest Surgery is divided into cardiovascular and pulmonary and esophageal surgery.
We are also providing medical treatment for all vascular diseases from aortic disease, various congenital heart malformations, and peripheral arterial disease to varicose veins. In particular, we give CPR on cardiac arrest patients after connecting extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) which shows a 30% increased chance of survival compared to conventional protocol.
All treatments for such diseases of chest surgery can be provided 24 hours a day, and a separate hot line is in operation.
Also, we operate surgeries on old-age and high-risk patients who are rising in number and are leading cardiac surgery in both quality and quantity.
