Hospice Palliative Care Center
Hospice palliative care is a professional medical service that improves the quality of life by relieving pain and physical, psychological, social, and spiritual suffering for patients and their families with terminal diseases that are difficult to treat.
Ilsan Paik Hospital Hospice and Palliative Care Center provides comprehensive care services to patients and families through a multidisciplinary (doctors, nurses, social workers, and volunteers) team approach. In August 2017, it was designated as a hospice and palliative care specialized institution, providing total care services. We operate a 9-bed independent ward, end-of-life room, family room, bath room, and counseling room. In addition, to relieve the physical, mental, and financial burden on terminal cancer patients and their families, we have introduced a hospice palliative care assistant system, which has been in effect since September 3.
