Dongnae Paik Hospital,
opened a five story building to public in March
2001 with 14 departments and 221 beds. It is located
in a concentrated residential area of apartments
and shopping centers and nearby there is a expressway
where traffic accidents often occur. Therefore many
patients are in need of emergency care, accordingly,
the hospital has reinforced its emergency center.
Dongnae-Paik Hospital fulfills its role as a teaching
hospital as it has medical staff made from professors
at Busan-Paik Hospital and functions in close mutual
cooperation with doctors and small clinics in the
neighborhood of Geumjeong.
